Sonoran Trails Power Line Issue Issue to be reviewed at Cave Creek School District Events in June

In the month of June you have several opportunities to provide input to help correct the Power Line issue at Sonoran Trails Middle School.  We need your support.  Especially at the forum on June 18th at the Fine Arts Center.     (For background on the Power Line issue at Sonoran Trails please go to: http://sfsa.onmycity.com/)

The CCUSD93 Governing Board is staging two forums and a meeting in June to get input from the community on the Power Line Issue at STMS.

Forum:   June 11, 2007

6:00 p.m. at Sonoran Trails Middle School

5555 E. Pinnacle Vista in the Mini-Auditorium.

(We should have a good turn out. Please try to come out and speak.)

Governing Board Meeting:  June 12, 2007

6 p.m. at Old Black Mountain Elementary School Site.

Forum:  June 18, 2007

7:00 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center

33606 N. 60th Street

(This meeting will be very important.  We need as many people as possible to attend this meeting to show support for including the Power Line issue.)

The Governing Board is seeking input from members of the community on whether the power lines issue should be bundled into the renovation/site improvement bond.

"Students First....Safety Always”, is a community-based organization that believes the best interests of the children attending STMS will be served by including the power lines issue into the renovation/site improvement plan.

Please plan on attending one of the forums or the Governing Board meeting and let the board know that you want the power lines issue bundled with all the other issues in the renovation/site improvement bond.   If you cannot attend an event, please write the board a letter or an email.

Tell them that you want the Power Line issue bundled into the renovation/site improvement bond.   Separating the Power Lines issue and all the other issues out will complicate and severely threaten all renovations and site improvements issues.  That will be a disaster for our community.

This is a critical time for action.  If you are concerned about this issue please tell the Governing board at one of these forums, at the meeting, via email or via regular mail.  Let them know that you support including the power lines issue in the renovation/site improvement bond along with the other issues.
